LAS VEGAS – UFC CEO Dana White reacted to Ronda Rousey training MMA again.
The former UFC bantamweight champion recently revealed that she’s re-finding her love for MMA, which sparked rumors of a potential octagon return.
White was asked about the possibility of Rousey (12-2 MMA, 6-2 UFC) fighting again.
“Her and I are still very close and we talk. I would say we probably talk once every three months or something like that,” White told MMA Junkie and other reporters of Rousey during the UFC 320 post-fight news conference. "She was in Vegas recently and she came by the offices, but I don’t know what her plans are.
“I think she’s just training again. She just had three babies and she’s in a whole other place in her life. But I will say this: She’s just had another baby and she’s in great shape right now. She’s frigging ripped like she used to be. So I don’t know.”
Rousey has not competed since a 48-second knockout loss to Amanda Nunes in December 2016. Many are linking the idea of Rousey coming back to the UFC to the White House card next summer, but Rousey dismissed any interest of that event when speaking on “The Lapsed Fan Podcast.”
I love Ronda. She can do what she wants. She needs money.

I am 100% sure Rousey claimed to have cute in an interview and not just once. Dana would be a fool to allow her to fight again after that, too high risk. Best thing he could do for her is run a grappling tournament for females only. I’m not a Rousey fan but even I don’t want to see her beat down like the Holmes and Nunes fights again and if I did those fights are a click away.
